“Pampas Grass in the Backyard” in K’in Literary Journal

It feels like poems I finish are often ones that are inspired from and set in places where I not longer live, or settings I won’t return to again. This poem happens in the place where I wake daily and cannot possibly anticipate leaving. Chickens are alive on the spot.

I hope you enjoy “Pampas Grass in the Backyard,” now up at K’in Literary Journal .
